Slumber

If there is one thing in SL I can never get enough of, it's pets.
Animated, static.. it doesn't matter. If I think they're cute, there's
a very big chance that I'll buy it.
And that is how Toby joined the Décor family.
This cute italian greyhound by Half Deer with his little teddy bear, will brighten up
any household, and charm his way into your heart.

Available in 4 different colours; fawn, red, black and grey, and is sold as either
the standalone sleeping dog or as a full set with beds for both dog and human, dog treat
jar and dog bowl.

I guess my guests will have to find another place to sit now, cause the pup
sure ain't going anywhere ;)

The most amazing thing about Second Life, to me, is the fact that you can do whatever

you want, and be whoever you want to be.

Can't play piano? Well buy yourself one and instantly know how to play

Nocturne perfectly.. 

Can't play baseball? Well suit up and go to the field. You don't even have to play,

just pose and pretend you know what you're doing ;)

So that's what I did when Glo sent me her newest props and poses for the

Oh! Like Blah Gatcha Event. I mean, me as a baseball player? I'd hit myself or someone else

with the bat before reaching first base.. but damn if I ain't gonna try and look

fabulous while doing it ^^

I'm much better at crawling into the pool (as small as it may be) and enjoy a moment
of peace and quiet.
And who says you're too old to bring a giant fish with you?
No one, that's who.. cause they're freaking adorable.

Sound familiar? Well I hope it does, cause todays blog post is about
comics XD
All in honor of the amazing Comic Fair that is taking place in Second Life at 
the moment.
Up until April 30th, you're able to find 80 stations with a mixture of clothes, furniture, 
poses and accessories to spice up your inventory.
If money is a little short at the moment, it's still worth a go, as most stores
on the sim have a 1L gift for you.

So, do I read a whole lot of comic books? No.. I must admit that I dont. If there's no
movie/tv franchise or I haven't heard of a character online.. You'll probably lose me 
pretty fast in a conversation. Give it a shot.. I dare ya.

For the photo of this blog post, I decided to turn myself into Harley Quinn. 
I used to love watching The Batman animated series and Harley quickly became my
favourite.. She's dark and quirky, and although not nearly as violent as I've heard
she is the comic, she's got an obvious spark of insanity.

Mad City

I often come across sims that simply take my breath away. May it be because of the colours, creativity,
or the warped mind that the creator must have. It's impressive to say the least.
Mad City is one of these places. 
As you take a stroll down the streets in the dark and the rain, and you look at the stores, you realize just how much work
goes into these places to create the proper mood or tone.
Now, I'm one of those people who find the pouring rain and streets lit up by signs and lampposts only, extremely romantic.. 
So while it might be a mad city, it's certainly also full of a warmth we can thank the MadPea Production for.

Also.. While you're there, you might as well join the Lost Mine Hunt. A point and click game in beautiful sorrounding and 
with fabulous prices at the end. Well worth the time and 150L you have to spend on the HUD that is required to play.

The Feeling

There's a lot of events going on lately, and it seems almost impossible to keep up with what is going on when and where.
But today, we'll only focus on this one.. THE FEELING.
A 10 day gatcha event that starts tomorrow, april 15th with the theme "Words".

Words are such a beautiful thing, and so are these word props with original poses from Bubblefish, which will be a gatcha release at the event.
So make sure you save those Lindens of yours and stop by The Feeling when they open the gates tomorrow and try your luck.

Those who knows me, also knows what a huge fan I am of Glam Affair. Not only are they my go-to store when it comes to skins, but they also make the most stunning accessories. This time, they've created this cute headpiece, available at FaMESHed.
This is another of those great events in Second Life that lets you see the absolute newest of our creators out there. That's why I couldn't help but buy the dress, jacket and hair now that I was there anyways. Oops.. :)

The Men's Dept. is back, so gentlemen, start your engine, and may.. Ooops. Sorry, RuPaul took me over for a minute there.
But no, really.. If you are a guy, or you're a girl wanting to seek inspiration, or a girl who likes shopping (guilty as charged), then stop by.
There are plenty of unisex items to please anyone.
My heart fell for Bat Dog. Another genius piece of art from .Birdy. He comes with or without the mask, and there's even a mask in there for you as well. Sadly I was unable to find a hair that didn't mess it up :/
My search continues.
