Hunting Goodies

Maybe you've just started out with Second Life, and decided that those lindens, are not some you'll be spending a lot of.
Perhaps you've been around for a while, and simply enjoy to hunt for the cheap but good stuff that SL creators provide.
Well, look no further! (Not an order.. Please go look further if you feel like it) ^^

Below, I'll list some of my my favorite "cheap but fabulous" items that you'll find on the Marketplace. Some will cost you a few lindens while others will be completely free.

Let's start with the toughest one. Hair. Cheap, but good quality hair can be hard to find, though not impossible. If you don't mind flexi, that is. And you know what? I don't.
I know a lot of people swear that mesh hair is the only thing that will make your avatar look good, but one of my favorite cheap hair stores, will have to be Yellow Hair.
This is the hair that I started out with when I first joined, and it has remained its place in my inventory even when it hasn't been on my head, and it's only 23 Lindens per hair.
If you're looking for something slightly cheaper, but equally good, I'd go to Lovely Butterfly for superb hair at the price of only 11L.

Whether you wanna dress formal or casual, cheap clothes (even good quality mesh) and shoes, is easy to come by if you know how to search. My trick, is to search for "free gift" and then click my way into the category of my choice. This, of course works for other items as well, and it's a good way of avoiding most of those blasted demos. Unless demos are your thing, then go right ahead and skip this step :)

Whenever I see something for sale, that has anything to do with Doctor Who, I squeal like a 15 year old school girl. So imagine the sounds I made, when I saw these Doctor David and Doctor Matt Kitty Neko Chairs from Sour Mouth.

Spring is Coming

I'll gladly admit that Game of Thrones is a wonderful show, but Winter is Coming? Hell no!
I'm ready for spring, and the weather outside seems to agree with me. Bringing the spring with me into Second Life, Havoc and I went for a little bike ride. Aah.. All the relaxation without the buzzing of virtual bees. How much more could we possibly ask for?
Well... Spring also means, finding the clothes that we can wear outside without needing a jacket. Not too much. Not too little.

Something I like to wear, especially around this time of year, are the wool tights, and I've brought that with me into the life that is Second. 
I've been meaning to do a blog post with these tights in particular for quite a while now, cause I simply adore them. So stop by Glo's inworld shop for a chance at the gatcha machine.

The Arcade

I wish I was one of those people who could have a style and then just stick to it. I accepted a long time ago that when it comes to clothes.. that's just not possible. I love changing. I love mixing.

But I actually thought the mesh head was there to stay. As you can tell, it was not. 

Don't get me wrong, I still think the quality of the Nea mesh head is amazing, but I wanted to go back to my old self, so I did. Tweaked it a little more and ended up happier with the result than I was before.

So far so good.

As anticipated, getting into The Arcade proved to be a right kerfuffle (love that word). And when I finally did, it was actually my boyfriend who made it there first. Don't you just love it when men gets just as excited about gatchas? Actually, I think that might be my fault. ::polishes her halo:: 

Of course, a whole lot of Lindens were spent, and even though a region restart threatened to kick us out right in the middle of our shopping.. we made it back in.

So what is my favourite item from the March 2014 Arcade? Without a doubt the pugglies from .Birdy.

Looking at some of the wonderful pictures from SL users out there, I'd say a lot of them agrees with me. And who can blame them? The quality and cuteness of these things are off the charts.

But then again, so is everything else from The Arcade.

First, I'd like to apologize for not having updated the blog in such a long time. Life is busy, First AND Second. But hopefully, there will now be time to add the blog back into the mix that is everyday.

But every day is great and I will certainly not complain ♥

Now, onto the matter at hand. COATS.

Why on earth do I own so many Second Life coats and then live on a tropical beach? I'll tell you why.. Cause both things are absolutely stunning. But let's focus on the coats for now.

On this particular one, it was the lace collar that got me all excited. I mean, look at it. It's freaking gorgeous.
