Thank God, It's Sundae..

Okay.. few things to clear up before we continue.. Yes, I know it's only Thursday and yes, I know that's not a sundae ^^

However, I did have a lot of trouble deciding on the title for this blogpost. So much I actually waited a day writing it. I don't know why I can't just write the post itself and then come up with the title afterwards. *shakes my head*

We may never know.

And to be fair.. There IS ice cream in the picture AND today we have another day of the week. The weekend is approaching and I'll be spending it with family.

Something I'm extremely pleased with when visiting family, is the option of stepping into the garden and enjoy the chilly breezes while still being in the comfort of somewhere familiar. Living in an apartment, I sadly spend too much time indoors during these extremely hot months, cooling myself down with tons of ice cubes.

And ice cream... seriously, I LOVE ice cream. Call it my guilty pleasure.. call it unhealthy. You know what? Call it whatever you like.. I call it freaking delicious! XD

It's one of those things that can always cheer me up... Hmm, that's not exactly the best way to feel better is it? Oh well.. It remains yummy.

But we'll step away from the ice cream for now, and I'll look forward to a short weekend visit at my brother's house, playing Monopoly and eating steaks fresh off the grill.

Give Me Love Like Her

Second Life is big big place.. Always new places to see, always new items to purchase, always new people to meet. I don't meet as many people as I used to, to be honest.

These days, I'm either taking pictures, writing, hanging out with my fiancé and/or friends or shopping. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before in a former blog post, and yet I've done very little to change it up.

But then again, sometimes I can't but wonder... why change it up? The people I have around me make every day in Second Life an absolute joy.

Faylinn is one of those people.

It's fun to think sometimes, that had I not applied to blog for .:Buttery Toast:. would I then even have got to know such a wonderful human being?

Chances are that I would not... But thankfully, things worked out the way they have, and she's a freaking pleasure to be in proximity of. ♥

She's also one of my favourite go-to people when it comes to excessive shopping.. especially when it comes to events. This time, we both went mental at the new round of Kustom9 and ended up drooling over the shirt and skirts by [MotiAme]. They come in a bunch of colours that you can mix and match as you please.

Another new favourite of mine from this round, is the glasses from .tgs. where the hud will allow you to change the lenses.. As much as I love the various options, I did end up going for clear though as I felt it was the most appropriate for this look.

Nothing Tastes as good as Cute Feels

Have you ever had someone ask you, "If you could travel to any point in time, where would you go?"
And in that case, what would your answer be?

I can tell you mine.
There is no doubt in my mind that I'd go see an actual 50's diner. Not the fancy remakes we see 
in this day and age, but to actually go back to the Fifties and see if it's as awesome as it looks.

So when I went to this round at Collabor88, I was beyond thrilled. VINTAGE.EVERWHERE!
I knew I wanted to make a blog post with some of these items, but what ended up happening,
was a complete transformation of my kitchen.
They say home is where the heart is.. but the kitchen is where the bacon's at, so that's where'll

Mad City

I often come across sims that simply take my breath away. May it be because of the colours, creativity,
or the warped mind that the creator must have. It's impressive to say the least.
Mad City is one of these places. 
As you take a stroll down the streets in the dark and the rain, and you look at the stores, you realize just how much work
goes into these places to create the proper mood or tone.
Now, I'm one of those people who find the pouring rain and streets lit up by signs and lampposts only, extremely romantic.. 
So while it might be a mad city, it's certainly also full of a warmth we can thank the MadPea Production for.

Also.. While you're there, you might as well join the Lost Mine Hunt. A point and click game in beautiful sorrounding and 
with fabulous prices at the end. Well worth the time and 150L you have to spend on the HUD that is required to play.

Spring is Coming

I'll gladly admit that Game of Thrones is a wonderful show, but Winter is Coming? Hell no!
I'm ready for spring, and the weather outside seems to agree with me. Bringing the spring with me into Second Life, Havoc and I went for a little bike ride. Aah.. All the relaxation without the buzzing of virtual bees. How much more could we possibly ask for?
Well... Spring also means, finding the clothes that we can wear outside without needing a jacket. Not too much. Not too little.

Something I like to wear, especially around this time of year, are the wool tights, and I've brought that with me into the life that is Second. 
I've been meaning to do a blog post with these tights in particular for quite a while now, cause I simply adore them. So stop by Glo's inworld shop for a chance at the gatcha machine.
